NOTIFICATION OF OPENING OF HCV PROGRAM WAIT LIST
The Springfield Metropolitan Housing Authority (SMHA) Housing Choice Voucher Program (Previously known as Section 8) provides rental assistance in the private housing market for very-low income families who qualify for assistance.
Beginning April 17, 2023, SMHA will accept completed applications from families who wish to qualify for a voucher on Tuesdays & Thursdays, between the hours of 9:00am-11:00am and 1:30pm-3:30pm at 2026 W. Main Street, Springfield, Ohio 45504.
If interested in applying for the HCV program, applications will be available for pick up beginning April 17, 2023, Monday through Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm (offices closed 12:00pm-1:00pm).
Public Housing Residents must pick up and complete the application if they want to apply for the HCV Program. These are two separate programs.
